Meet the Therapists

Kendra Cromwell

Kendra is beyond excited to be the new owner of Truckee Massage! She has six years of experience under her belt and many more to learn and grow from. It is an honor for her to be a part of the Truckee Massage team and is humbled to have a role as the leader of this business. She mixes a variety of slow, intentional techniques, done in a way to induce relaxation and also relieve chronic pain and tension. She enjoys using trigger points, range of motion, and intuition to provide gentle or deep bodywork. After growing up in North Lake Tahoe, she continued to CU Boulder for a BA in Anthropology and traveled the world before settling down to eventually become a massage therapist back in her beautiful home. Massage is truly a remarkable way to help other people, learn about the body, and challenge herself. She feels fortunate to have such a rewarding job in such an absolutely magical place.

Gale Klenk

Gale Klenk is the previous owner of Truckee Massage and has over thirty years of experience. She serves as a professional mentor to the other therapists and delivers a wonderfully effective and therapeutic massage. Her initial training lies in Neuromuscular Therapy and reaches far into advanced massage techniques. When Gale is not massaging or skiing, she is working hard to roast arguably the best coffee around at Sierra Pacific Coffee Roasters here in Truckee.

Margo James

Margo earned her Bachelor's Degree of Exercise Science in 2012 within the beautiful foothills of Boone, NC. It was her passion in utilizing the human body which began during her first gymnastics class at 6 years old that catapulted her into an array of athletics and eventually led her to seek a kinesiology related-career. She has, over time, developed the belief that a multitude of differing modalities on the body can each have their own deep and profound effects. Employing this knowledge within her own life has had induced exceptionally positive impacts and now fuels her desire to become an effective bodyworker. She believes that a massage should be everything that the client wants it to be and more, and makes a whole-hearted effort to deliver such.

Kristi Ketting

Kristi has been a practicing LMT since 2010. She has over 1400 hours of massage therapy education, along with having completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in health and wellness coaching. Her work stems from an innate desire to create positivity and healing in the world. Kristi's style of bodywork is influenced by her extensive training in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage techniques, and her sessions are deeply present and intuitive. Each session is unique and her approach varies organically with the needs of each individual client. She is passionate about creating therapeutic embodiment experiences for her clients, encouraging people to get out of their heads and connect with their bodies. In her free time, Kristi is most likely romping around in the forests of Tahoe with her pup, rocking out to live music, and cooking delicious things.
