At Truckee Massage, your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Because we are often fully booked, especially during peak seasons, the following considerations help us provide the best possible experience for all clients.

Health & Illness

For the safety of our clients and therapists:

  • If you are sick, potentially contagious with or have recently been exposed to any illness, we request that you cancel or reschedule your appointment as soon as possible.

  • This includes, but is not limited to: colds, flu, COVID, stomach illness, fever, or any condition that may put others at risk.

  • Please cancel or reschedule* your appointment if any of the above applies to avoid exposure to Truckee Massage therapists and clients. Please call us if you have any questions regarding possible illness.

We greatly appreciate your consideration in helping us maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

Winter Travel & Arrival Timing

Winter in the Sierras is beautiful—but it can also bring challenges such as skier traffic, snowplows, accidents, chain controls, and road closures.

  • Please check your navigation app early and allow extra travel time.

  • We recommend arriving in the parking lot 15–20 minutes before your appointment to allow time for parking, getting to the office, and using the restroom if needed.

  • Parking can be especially tight Monday–Friday during lunch hours.

We want to give you your full session time; however, during busy seasons and holidays, we may not be able to extend appointments if you arrive late.

Location & Parking

Truckee Massage is located in The Rock complex, alongside Drunken Monkey and 50/50 Brewery.

  • Free parking is available in our main lot.

    If the lot is full, overflow parking is available behind the Best Western.

Finding Our Office

  • Look for Thai Delicacy near the roundabout entrance on the east end of the lot.

    If arriving from the rear parking area, the restaurant will be on the left side of the three-story building.

    Our office is on the third floor, accessible by stairs or the elevator directly across from Thai Delicacy.

    Restrooms are located across the hallway from our suite.

*Online Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please make note of your Vagaro login information, as this allows you to cancel or reschedule online without needing to contact the office.

  • Cancellations and rescheduling made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full service amount unless the appointment is rebooked.

  • Online cancellations are allowed up to 4 hours before your appointment. This gives us the best chance to refill your spot and potentially avoid charges.

  • If the appointment is not rebooked, the full service charge will apply.

  • If rescheduling through Vagaro, use the Reschedule button, not the Book button. Clicking Book will book a new appointment and will not cancel the original appointment, which could result in cancellation fees. To ensure your appointment has been rescheduled correctly, review your appointments in your Vagaro profile for accuracy.

We kindly ask that you cancel or reschedule through your Vagaro profile as soon as you know you cannot attend—whether due to illness, weather, schedule changes, or emergencies.In-Office Appointments

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

24-Hour Notice Required

  • Cancellations or rescheduling made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time will be charged 100% of the service cost.

  • Please note: Rescheduling and canceling are treated the same, as the original appointment time is removed from the schedule regardless of whether a new appointment is booked.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to plan ahead and monitor weather, air quality, road, and traffic conditions.

Late Arrival Policy

  • If you arrive late or delay the start of your appointment, your therapist will do their best to provide the full session time if possible.

  • Due to a full schedule, this may not always be possible.

  • You will be charged the full price of the originally scheduled service, regardless of the actual time received.

Outcall (In-Home) Appointments

Cancellation Policy

48-Hour Notice Required

  • A 48-hour cancellation notice is required for all outcall (in-home) appointments.

  • Deposits may be required for group bookings.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged 100% of the service cost.
